How to take part

  • Participants should go to roamtheriver.meantimebrewing.com and register for an account by providing their first name and email address
  • Participants must purchase one Meantime product from an Uber Boat by Thames Clippers that has a bar and is operating on the Thames in London. Following purchase participants must “check in” by scanning the QR code which will be provided by bar staff and logging the purchase using their account at roamtheriver.meantimebrewing.com.
  • Participants must also purchase an additional Meantime product from a participating venue. The venues displaying the green hospitality symbol on the map of the Thames available at roamtheriver.meantimebrewing.com are the only eligible participating venues. Following purchase participants must “check in” by scanning the QR code which will be provided by bar staff and logging the purchase using their account at roamtheriver.meantimebrewing.com.
  • Once a participant has purchased two Meantime products and provided two check-ins following the procedure above, they will receive an email with their £10 Meantime Voucher exclusively for use in the Meantime online store (meantimebrewing.com)

Proof of purchase may be requested. Participants should retain receipts. Service is always at the discretion of the bar staff.

A maximum of three (3) vouchers may be claimed by any one individual during the course of this promotion.

  1. Entries

    1. The Promoter will not accept:
      1. responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
      2. proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the promotion.
    2. By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  2. Eligibility

    1. Participants must meet eligibility requirements contained in the Specific Terms and Conditions above. The promotion is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:
      1. employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
      2. employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the promotion or its administration; or
      3. members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
    2. In entering the promotion, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any reward you may earn. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the promotion which may include proof of purchase.
    3. The Promoter will not accept promotion entries that are:
      1. automatically generated by computer;
      2. completed by third parties or in bulk;
      3. illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
      4. photocopies and not originals; or
      5. incomplete.
    4. The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the promotion.

  3. The reward

    1. £10 are subject to availability. A total of 25,000 £10 vouchers will be given away during this promotion. Once the cap is reached the promotion may be brought an end. There is no cash alternative to the voucher. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
    2. The reward is not negotiable or transferable.

  4. Claiming the reward

    1. The reward may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
    2. Vouchers may only be used on purchase of beer products from the Meantime online store. The voucher is not eligible to be spent on merchandise or non-beer products.
    3. All £10 vouchers issued in accordance with this promotion will be valid for a period of 12 months at which point they will expire.
    4. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to use the reward prior to expiration of the voucher.

  5. Limitation of liability

    1. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

  6. Data protection and publicity

    1. The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the privacy policy available at https://asahibeer.co.uk/privacy-policy/. See also condition 5.3 and condition 5.4, with regard to the announcement of winners.

  7. General

    1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the promotion.
    2. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
    3. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
